Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory

Theodor Seuss Geisel

With a camera always near by, sometimes we take dozens of photos a day, hundreds by the end of week, and countless hours of video clips of moments that we want to remember and perhaps keep forever….

… and then we stumble upon old printed photographs, news paper articles, and personal objects or we inherit a collection of family items from people who have moved on…

What do we do with them? Do we keep them? And if we do, how do we manage it all and capture the stories behind each image. How can we share these stories so that people don’t forget?

That’s pretty much the essence of this website.

You will find information, tools, tips, and links to resources and hardware that I personally recommend (or that have peaked my interest).

Your thoughts, feedback, and discussion are more than welcome. I certainly don’t pretend to know everything and this common passion can’t be done alone.

Along with preserving my own personal stories, I also enjoy reading and listening to other people’s stories and helping them capture and share their stories for other people.

I hope you enjoy this website as much as I have enjoyed building it.
